Nick is a cellular and molecular biologist and expert in toxicology, pharmacokinetics in humans and animals. He has also managed transgenic animals colonies and served as Insititutional Animal Care and Use Committee chairman. He is our animal colony manager and also research technician.

 

He received his Bachelor of Science in Cellular and Molecular Biology, May 2007 California State University of Northridge, Northridge. From 2001 to 2003, he worked for as a Biological Research Assistant at CTL Immunotherapies Chatsworth, California in cell culture, plasmid purification, gel electrophoresis, and protein assaying. • Amplification of DNA via PCR. From 2004 to 2010 he was a Laboratory Manager, QA Associate, Research Associate, Chairperson of the IACUC Committee B.A.T.T.S. Laboratories Northridge, California, and Veterinary Assistant in various in vivo studies. He wrote SOPs, data input, working under GLP/NIH and FDA settings. He is an expert in Intravenous, subcutaneous, and Intraperitoneal injections and gavage and blood collection techniques. He also performed immunoassays, including ELISA, flow cytometry, and micro-array beads.
