 XIang Cheng

It has been a pleasure to have XIang in our laboratory and we all were disappointed when she had to return to complete the last year of her PhD program. She worked extensively on tau transgenic Drosophila, and within a short time set up our Drosophila program, doing work on screening for efficacy of tau inhibitors. Everything she did she did with enthusiastic, fierce energy and conscientiousness. Here is one of her beautiful photos of a normal fly eye.

We wish her the best of luck on her PhD.

Xiang's prior work focuses on brain tumors particularly gliomas for which she has extensive expertise.
